In 2014, Hill got backlash after he was filmed lashing out at paparazzi by using gay slurs. He was walking in the Larchmont area of L.A. when he was suddenly surrounded by paparazzi. He kept silent for the most part even when one of them questioned his dress and said, “I like the shorts though, bro. They are pretty sexy.”
The actor lashed out with a homophobic slur.TMZ said the photographer followed him for another 40 seconds before wishing him a good day. And it was when the 39-year-old snapped shouting the homophobic slur “Suck my d***, you f*****!”
He Apologized For The Anti-Gay Slur Calling It Disgusting
During Jonah’s appearance on The Howard Stern Show, he made an apology for using the anti-gay slur and called the F-word, “a disgusting word.”
Furthermore, he called the situation heartbreaking and went on to explain what really happened that day. He said,
“This is a heartbreaking situation for me. From the day I was born and publicly, I’ve been a gay rights activist. Not excusing what I said in any way, this person had been following me around all day. Had been saying hurtful things about my family, the really hurtful thing about me personally, and I played into exactly what he wanted and lost my cool.”
Likewise, he stated he had grown up with gay family members and one of his co-workers/ best friend is also gay.
