Further, Rose became part of the rumors when his co-anchor named Gayle King said “I’m gay,” during a segment of CBS This Morning with him and Norah O’Donnell. In the show, King and Charlie were actually talking about choosing a perfect partner. She initially joked with him, saying that they could be a romantic couple.

Charlie Rose Was Previously Married
In the past, Rose was married to his wife Mary Rose. The former husband and wife first tied the knot in 1968 and they, however, divorced in 1980, about 12 years after their nuptial.
More than a decade after his divorce from Mary, Charlie started dating Amanda Burden in 1992. His then-girlfriend Burden was a stepdaughter of CBS founder William S. Paley as well as a former New York City Planning Commissioner. However, the two broke up in 2006.
